"Sonic? Sonic! You were out cold for ten seconds! What happened? The Death Egg just... vanished!"

The Hyper Dash also grants Sonic a significant aerial boost. Unlike the standard Super Sonic double jump (which is just a higher jump), the Hyper Dash propels Sonic forward with immense velocity. This allows players to cross massive gaps and skip large sections of platforming challenges.

If the abilities sound overpowered, that’s the point. Hyper Sonic in S2A is not intended for a balanced playthrough—it is a .

Like Super Sonic, Hyper Sonic is completely invulnerable to enemy attacks and spikes (though he can still die by falling into pits or being crushed). He retains the speed boost of the Super form, allowing him to blitz through levels at breakneck speeds. hyper sonic in sonic 2 absolute

Sonic retained his Super form using the Chaos Emeralds, but each time he transformed, the Genesis Lance siphoned his energy, feeding the Hyper-Void and making it larger. He was stuck in a paradox—using his power made the villain stronger, but not using it meant certain death.

As he closed his eyes, the emeralds didn't just grant him power; they roared.

In some versions of Sonic 2 , players mistakenly call a specific glitch "Hyper Sonic." This occurs when you hit an and transform into Super Sonic immediately after. The invincibility stars persist, giving Super Sonic a "sparkle" effect that resembles the Hyper state, though it does not grant Hyper Sonic's unique moveset. "Sonic

One of Hyper Sonic's most practical mechanics is the removal of the drowning timer. Zones like Aquatic Ruin Zone lose their threat completely, allowing you to sprint across the ocean floor without hunting for air bubbles. 4. Maximum Velocity and Physics Uncap

SANTA ANA WINDS – Steel Breeze (2021) *HQ* Out of print

SANTA ANA WINDS is a unique project, both in its approach and in its development. The main idea is to take a handful of little-known AOR songs from big names inside and outside of the melodic rock field, and breathe new life into them through a careful cast of top-level musicians. All this through a purely AOR filter and made with the greatest care and taste.
Steel Breeze” is the 2nd release under the SANTA ANA WINDS moniker, with new musicians and a different producer – by Dave Draper, who also perform an array of instruments – bringing a new sound, plus talented vocalists like J.D. Kelly (From The Fire), Steevi Jaimz (ex Tigertailz) and Vicky Jackson.
Limited to 500 copies, SANTA ANA WINDS’ ”Steel Breeze” is already sold out.
These are awesome classy AOR songs written by AOR gurus like Janet Morrison Minto, Pamela Barlow, R. Carter, etc…

SANTA ANA WINDS – Santa Ana Winds (2016) out of print

SANTA ANA WINDS is the self-titled debut from the project created by AOR Blvd Records and conducted by the great David A. Saylor (in his last official recording) and long time collaborator keyboardist John Dewsbury.
“Santa Ana Winds” features three lead vocalists; David Saylor himself, Brad Henshaw (Road Kings) and newbie Rebecca Owen. Of course, this is pure AOR in the best ’80s tradition. The idea was to carefully select & record obscure AOR songs from the past – some of them never officially released and only known as demos – with a new feeling and arrangements.
Saylor’s vocals did not need introduction to AOR fans, but I have to mention Brad Henshaw as a true revelation as AOR singer, plus Rebecca Own provides the sweet female touch, while Saylor’s daughter Romany does some backing vocals.
