While the official levels provided immediate fun, the changes made to the Level Editor in 2.1 are what ensured the game's longevity for years to come. The game also expanded its demon-ranking system, categorizing the hardest tiers of custom levels into five distinct sub-ratings: Easy Demon, Medium Demon, Hard Demon, Insane Demon, and Extreme Demon. This allowed the competitive community to precisely measure their skill progression and fostered a highly competitive race to conquer the world’s hardest levels.
Diamonds were added as a premium secondary currency earned through daily quests, chests, and standard level completions. Alongside Diamonds, Mana Orbs became the official currency for the newly established In-Game Shops. Players could spend these currencies to unlock exclusive icons, death effects, and ship skins. Though the Move trigger debuted in version 2.0, version 2.1 perfected its implementation and introduced the Rotate trigger. This tool allowed creators to rotate objects around a specific center point dynamically during gameplay. Together with smooth easing effects, these triggers allowed levels to feature animated bosses, shifting environments, and complex mechanical structures that responded to the player's progress.
